Morgan has diverse training and professional experience as a dancer, performer, and teacher. Her promenade with dance began at the age of 4 in Colorado where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, and modern at Parker Dance Academy, Colorado School of Dance, and David Taylor Dance Theater. She began student teaching at the age of 16 and choreographed her first full-length musical at 17. She went on to complete her BFA in Acting from Chicago College of Performing Arts where she received a scholarship to continue her dance studies at Hubbard Street. Morgan spent 7 years dancing, acting, writing, and choreographing numerous productions throughout the greater Chicago area. She developed an avant garde, theatrical, and contemporary movement style. This passion for the unorthodox path also provoked a deep interest in the subjects of yoga, meditation, and philosophy. In 2010 she returned to Colorado to deepen her yoga studies. She has received over 1,000 hours of comprehensive yoga teacher training primarily from Samadhi Center for Yoga and Meditation in Denver, CO and teaches weekly yoga classes, workshops, and privates. Morgan has also studied various somatic movement methods including Skinner Release Technique, Alexander Technique, Viewpoints, and Gabrielle Roth’s 5 rhythms. Morgan was a founding ensemble member of Visionbox Acting Studio in Denver, CO under the direction of Jennifer McCray Rincon of Yale Drama School and Bob Davidson former Aerial Artist and movement director at The National Theater Conservatory. Morgan attended the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Teachers Workshop in 2016 as well as The Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop Teacher’s Weekend in 2014. Choreography and teaching have always been a part of Morgan’s life. She continues to explore teaching dance as both a physical discipline and an art. You can visit her at to learn more or to connect.
