As a Vail Valley native, Danielle first began her dance training with the Vail Valley Academy of Dance at the age of 4. Throughout her  14 years at the studio she practiced a wide variety of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, modern and contemporary. Danielle additionally took part in the Vail Youth Ballet Company where she had the privilege of participating in several performances and working with many guest artists.

Outside of the studio Danielle participated in musical theater productions  with the Vail Performing Arts Academy where she enjoyed several dancing roles and lead acting roles. She additionally joined the Battle Mountain High School dance team for two years, and was soon after made captain for her senior year. In this role she gained experience in pom, kicks, hip-hop and choreography.

Danielle went to college at the University of Colorado in Boulder where she received her diploma in Business and Marketing, and a minor in dance. Through CU’s artistic dance program she got the opportunity to work on a variety of dance styles that range from contact improv, hip-hop and musical theater. However, the majority of her practice at CU focused on her modern and contemporary technique.

Post graduation, Danielle is thrilled to be back in her hometown and to return to the VVAD where she looks forward to teaching alongside the many teachers from her childhood, including her mother Maria.
