Leisha Knight spent 8 years performing for The Beatles “Love” by, Cirque du Soleil. She also performed with Cirque Borsberg in France, was the Lead Trainer and Artistic Director for Circus Kathmandu in Nepal, choreographed and danced in A Choreographer’s Showcase with Nevada Ballet Theatre, and had the tremendous opportunity to perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Lenno. Leisha has taught multiple styles of dance including Hip Hop, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Ballet, Tap, and has primarily focused her energy in Acrobatic Dance. Leisha’s AcroDance groups have received Platinum awards at DMA and Dance USA competitions. Leisha followed the DMA Teacher Training program in Buffalo New York in 2003, was the NCAA Woman of the Year for Alaska in 2000, and an NCAA All-American Gymnast. Leisha performed as a Dancer and competed with her 3 sisters to win Dance USA Nationals in 2001. Leisha is passionate about sharing dance with her students, her energy is contagious making her classes fun and playful. ┬áMs. Leisha has been a substitute for the 2017/18 school year and will teach circus arts during the 2018 Summer Dance Intensive
